Greetings, my name is Omobolanle Ajao '@borabraids'. My passion for braiding was inspired by my mother, who was a hairstylist in Nigeria. As a little girl, I would find anything that had strands that I could braid, even if it wasn't hair. The passion grew solemnly with me. It was my mother’s dream for me to braid internationally. As a college student, I braided to support my parents. My journey to America still didn’t stop me from chasing my dreams, even though there are so many other things I'm sure I could do. As a way of expanding my knowledge, I took the famous “stitch braid” class, taught by Nasthestylist, and bloomed like never before. I'm still opened to improve and learning more, because for me, this is more than just a passion, it is my legacy.
